documentary feature | 100mins (goal) | in production
Alwyn Doolan is a Gooreng Gooreng Wakka Wakka man who overcame addiction and identity delusion to complete the longest walk in modern Aboriginal history: over 8,500km from Cape York via Tasmania to Canberra. He found healing through reconnecting to his culture and wishes to share that with the nation. Will he be heard? This is his story.
“All I hope to leave behind is the truth of a better future that we can create. Not just black and white, as human beings.”
— Alwyn Doolan, Messenger
